Tutoring / Enrichment
Working in groups no larger than 6 students, our academic coaches engage and inspire your child to learn. The same academic coach will work with your child every session. They will review the results of your child's academic diagnostic, create a customized curriculum to meet their needs and your expectations.
Whether you want your child to focus on homework completion and accuracy or our PACE "teacher approved" curriculum, your child's academic coach will communicate with you, the parent, progress, concerns and future goals.
PACE has designed its Small Group system of learning to be effective and affordable. We are your child's academic cheerleader, monitor and goal-setter. Continued enrollment in the program ensures your child will see educational achievement as a priority, produce quality work, and maintain the high grades you expect to see.
1-on-1 Instruction is recommended for students performing below grade level to quickly resolve confusion and avoid disinterest. Our academic diagnostic will reveal your child's weakness in varying academic concepts across multiple grade levels. The diagnostic can indicate to us that a 3rd grader is at 5th grade level in geometry but at 1st grade level in computation.
To maximize the total time spent on instruction, we recommend bundling 1-on-1 instruction with Small Group Tutoring. So, more time can be spent reviewing and learning new concepts while practice problems are completed in the Small Group environment with the support of an academic coach.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are you different from programs like Kumon?
The PACE System's primary focus is the academic coach engaging and inspiring your child to learn. Academic coaches are proactive and will encourage your child to go beyond their potential. To achieve personalized instruction, groups are limited to no more than 6 students to 1 academic coach.
PACE's System of worksheets is assigned based on the results of your child's academic diagnostic. We will assign work appropriate to your child's academic needs. The system is designed to challenge students to learn new concepts while including review work to reinforce and optimize retention.
PACE's worksheets are "teacher approved" meaning they are used by teachers and schools. All curriculum meets current State Standards.
With options starting at $133 per month, PACE aims to make its support affordable to all families.

PACE's academic diagnostic allows us to pinpoint exact areas of needed improvement using cross-grade-level adaptive technology.
Computer software must be used to determine the results found in our academic diagnostic. For example, a student in 2nd grade scoring at 1st grade level in phonics might have trouble with comprehension because they can't read the words. So before we teach them skills to improve comprehension we'll be sure to review phonics and make sure they can read and digest just the words.
Another example is a 5th grader who is scoring at 7th grade level in math computation will jump ahead and start learning algebra.
We retest all active students every September, January and June to ensure improvement.
PACE's teachers are titled "academic coaches" because it is their responsibility to push students to find their potential, set short and long term goals, and keep them motivated to learn.
Our coaches include certified teachers and future educators all passionate about wanting to help students learn.
The academic coaches at PACE are trained to follow the "Active Learning Model" which promotes engaging, questioning, and inspiring students to spark curiosity and excitement to want to learn more.
We hold academic coaches accountable for their assigned students' academic progress and success as part of their employee review. All PACE staff have undergone criminal background checks.
There is no contract and we do not require a deposit as part of our commitment to be sure you are always satisfied.
We recommend allowing your child to attend for at least 3 months to acclimate to the PACE system and to get to know the academic coach that will be assigned to them.
Management is always available to discuss any issues or concerns.
Your satisfaction is our priority.

"My daughter has been attending PACE for nearly 3 years now. Before attending PACE, she had struggled with her math and reading skills. The teachers at PACE helped her and reinforced what she was learning in school by giving her more worksheets to practice. Soon my daughter's test scores were significantly raised as well as her confidence in school. She is now in seventh grade taking honors classes in math and language arts."

"PACE has been very helpful to our entire family. Our daughter struggled with homework and at times would spend over an hour studying. She would often end up extremely frustrated, sometimes in tears. PACE picks her up from school, coaches her with homework and other areas where she needs help. She genuinely enjoys it. Her grades continue to improve and her self esteem continues to strengthen."
